The gentle scrapping my my paws hit upon the hard concrete which scattered this Construction site. In my maw was my dumbell, never would I leave it behind. Halting, I dropped my toy and lifted my dial to look upon a big yellow crane. My pools searched the magnificent structure. Smiling, I lowered my dial and rubbed my snout across the topography. Scents of humans and other canicnes drifted up through my nares into my thinking box. Lifting my dial back up, I turned and 1-beated towards my dumbell. Picking it up with my maw, I sprung into a 2-beat and beated over to an unwanted cardboard box. Tipping it onto it's side, I gently 1-beated in and curled up dropping the dumbell at my paws. Placing my dial upon my paws, I gently closed my pool-lits and dozzed of for abit

Delicate limbs jumped daintily from place to place, orbs all the while scanning the area warily. The Border Collies dubbing was Raven, and, whilst the name brought the image of power to most, at the present time, she was more scared then she had been in a while. Huge machines leered at her from each sides, swinging around in quite an un-predictable manner. So the small femme was on her guard, wondering all the time why exactly she had come here.
Until, just as she drew to a halt beside a large crane, another dogs scent came to her nares. Eyes widening in surprise, only one question darted through her mind - Who were they? She trotted carefully over to a small, cardboard box, where a faint rustling sound came from within - Yes, someone was there. Clearing her throught loudly, she hoped that this would draw enough attention to herself without actually having to speak, and she waited patiently for a reply of some sort, sitting down just out of sight.

My lobes and nares twitched. A scent and sound of another canine entered into my thinking box. LIfting my dial, my pools scanned the area around my box. Standing upon my paws, I steadily 1-beated out and turned my dial to look upon a Fae. Smiling, I sat upon my haunches and parted my maw to let lose my tones
Lo' Fae. I am dubbed Will and what be your dubbence?
It was a question I always asked when meeting another canine. My pools darted over her. She was pretty but I wasn't at all interested in having a mate. Licking my maw, I pinned my lobes forward and waited for her sweat reply

Raven smiled shyly at the bru - She hadn't expected him to notice her so quickly! Eyes shimmered with relaxation as she realised she wasn't in any danger from him - Or so it seemed, anyway - And couldn't hide the relief on her face.
"Nice to meet you, Will." She replied, looking at him carefully. Well, he seemed nice enough, that was for sure. "My name's Raven - So, what brings you here?" She asked gently, voice hardly audible above the huge clatter that the machines around them made. Indeed, it seemed a funny place to stay, and Raven herself was wondering what made her wander here of all places. Ever since she had... Escaped, she had been to many fine places in the city, and why the Contruction Site had first appealed to her, she didn't know. The park was fun to visit, and the beach, too, and all of the many other safe areas to go to. But no, she had picked probably the most dangerous, aside from the Cemetary, maybe. It was extremely out of character, and, whilst she waited politely for a reply, she too hoped his answer would explain her own coming, too.

I smiled and wagged my tassel a few times. Parting my maw, I let lose my tones once again
Nice to meet you Raven. I came here because I just wanted a change in the scenery and these machines look like a great thing to chase around when you get bored
Smiling, I gently stood back upon my limbs and went back inside my box. Pinking my dumbell up with my maw, I 2-beated back to Raven. Sitting back upon my haunches, I dropped it the topography and gently pushed it towards her with my snout. If she wanted to play around with it, it would be find with me

Raven smiled at him once more - Well, when you looked at it from that point, it could prove to be rather fun here. But still, the delicate fae was a little nervous, and for this moment in time, had no intentions of 'chasing' the machines.
As the new dog returned to his box, she couldn't help but wonder for a moment if he had simply grown bored, and gone back to sleep, but he soon returned, with something in her mouth that Raven did not know quite what it's purpose was. A small yellow dunbell dropped on the floor infront of her, and she nudged it gently with her nose. It skittered across the floor, and she couldn't help but grin as she watched it 'run' away. She looked up at Will again, the same look plastered on her face.
"What's that then?" She asked kindly, deducing he had grown quite attached to it for whatever reason. She had no problem with this, and had found it quite amusing herself, if she were to be perfectly honest.

I grinned at the way it ran away across the topography. Pinning my lobes forward to catch her vocals, I parted my maw and let lose mine
Well I'm not sure what it's called but if you bite it, it squeeks and I love that sound. Why not have a go at squeeking it
Jumping onto my limbs, I 3-beated across the topography to where my toy had stopped. Skidding, I pcked it up with my maw and 3-beated back to Raven. Halting I dropped it in front of her and sat back upon my haunches. Tassel wagging and lobes pinned forward. My pools locked onto her dial and I waited to see what she would do

Raven watched the stranger scamper off after the toy - It was strange, he was almost like a pup in that respect... In a way, she envied him. Her childhood had been lost, and she never had the chance to grow up normally. That was probably why she was the way she found herself now - Almost with more than one personality.
As Will returned the little yellow toy, she lowered her dial to play with the strange object obediantly. It squeaked loudly as she did so, and she quickly raised her head, laughing in surprise. Well, she hadn't expected that! She nudged it with her paw again - Well, whatever this thing was, she too was falling for its charms, much like Will already had. It was indeed fun to play with, and, whilst it must look stupid, two full grown dogs playing with a mere pups toy, it was fun, and besides, she did not care for what others thought. Her tail wagged happily and she trotted merily after ot again as it rolled away, picking it up in her mouth and returning to Will once more, dropping it at his feet.
"Well, it is quite fun now, isn't it?" She said happily. "But where did you get it from?" Indeed, she was curious as to how he got it. It almost looked like something the humans made, so perhaps he had merely picked it off the street. Unless... Unless he had been a house pet once, long ago, as Raven herself had been...

I laughed happily seeing Raven wagging her tassel and chewing on my toy. Pinning my lobes forward, I listened to her vocals. On her hearing the word 'where' I parted my maw in return
Well I just found it. Being a stray all my life I was going around and bumbed into it. I though nothing of it at first but then grew to love it.
My pink tounge rolled out of my maw and hung by the side of my maw. I liked the company of Raven. She was one nice canine to get along with.

Raven grinned again, looking down at the squeaky little toy once more.
"I think it must have once belonged to humans - I saw a little house-pup with one kind of like it before. It was blue, though..." She replied, nudging it once again with her paw. It squeaked loudly, and yet another smile crossed her face. She had a feeling this 'Will' would make a good friend, and, whilst she had no reason to look for a mate, she was sure she could hang around him a while, just a simple friend. They didn't need to look for anything more - No-one really did, in her mind. Head spun around as a large crane trundled slowly towards them, before stopping just a little distance away.
"Hey Will..." She said. "What would you say to going somewhere less... Dangerous? I hear the Apartment Block can be quite nice this time of year - Your own little room you can call your own! What do you say?" She continued, cocking a pretty head to one side. Eyes shone with happiness at the possibility of a new friend, but she would love equally to go exploring with him.

I wagged my tassel happily at hearing her tones. I nodded my dial in agreement to the toy belonging to a human dog. Tilting my dial, I looked upon her and smiled. Pinning my lobes forward, I listened contently at her tones and smiled. Parting my maw, I let lose my tones in a reply
Yes I think your right. Sooner or later these humans will get annoyed and chase us out. Where is the apartment blocks, I do not know where they are sorry. Would you be able to show me please
Wagging my tassel happily, I sprung upon my limbs and looked upon the crane and let lose a few deep growls towards it to warn it not to come any closer. LIfting my dial, I turned it to her direction and pinned my lobes forward waiting for her response

Raven beamed, and tassel wagged happily from side to side. An adventure to the Abandoned Apartment blocks... Well, it would be much safer than it was here, that was for sure! A pink tounge hung lazily out of her maw, and she grinned sheepishly at her new friend.
"Sounds good to me! I know where it is fine - I'll take you there! It's a little distance across the city, so you'd better stay close behind - I mean, you can't get lost there, can you?" She replied kindly, taking a small step forwards. But she stopped, and turned her head to look at him quickly again. "And don't forget your toy!" She continued merrily, trotting forwards towards the edge of the Construction Site. Luckily, she managed to avoid human gaze for the most part, and even when one of the clumsy brutes looked at her, they shrugged the feeling away - Surely no dog would just come into a Construction Yard? And so she reached the main gates safely, dodging the dangerous machines and tools, before looking back quickly, making sure Will was following, and darting off onto the streets once more.

I smiled and nodded my dial. Turning, I lowered my maw to the topography. Parting it and picking up my toy, I sprung into a 3-beat and followed Raven happily. My tassel streamed behind my body and pools darted upon the machines. Humans sat on their bums drinking tea and coffee, not at all like canines and other animals of the world. Quicking my pace, I sped after Raven hoping not to get lose
